Set Review #33: Viking's Fortress

since we usually do the smaller sets for reviews, I thought it would be nice to do a larger set this time.

THE PARTS: The fortress is made of log bricks, and has some shields with viking symbols as decorations, the catapults on the sides use some Bohrok-Kal shields. The Fafnir dragon has a lot of good MoCing pieces like Metru Green Bohrok arms/legs, "Santis Tan" Onua Claws, and those cool dragon wings, which would be good to use in a BIONICLE 2 Movie style Makuta.
The Minifig(s): The Fortress contains several Viking Minifigs, there's the Lead Viking with a golden helmet, and a whole lot more. Another thing that might not be considered a Minifig, is the Fafnir Dragon, and it's baby, which are both interesting creatures.
THE CONSTUCTION: The Fortress is not too difficult to build, but the side walls of it are built exactly the same, and become a bit boring. The Fortress is mostly made up of Log shaped bricks, and there are a few catapults on the walls, as well as plenty of big Horns.

The Fafnir dragon is built with a combination of BIONICLE and System parts, but the flames in its mouth fall out too easily.

THE FEATURES: The Fortress has tons of different capapults, the best of which is the largest one, which throws large stones at the Fafnir dargon. The two smaller capatults throw gray minifig "heads".

The Fortress also has a prison cage for the Baby Fafnir to go into, and a treasure chest with tons of green gems.
FINAL SCORE: This set has a lot of great of Minifigs, each with cool armor and faces.
The set is an important part of the Vikings series, butsome things, like the decorations on the fortress, fall off too easily.
The fortress comes apart in four pieces, The Gate, the Prison, and the two walls, the walls as I mentioned earlier, are built the same way. The Prison is my favorite part, it sits a capatult on top, and the cage works very well. The gate is a little bit flimsy, and has a place on top for a Viking to watch the outside of the Fortress.
Lastly, the set's price is pretty good, if you can manage to find the set anymore, it is only about $80 for more than 1000 Pcs.
8.3/10

Set Review #32: Chill Speeder

The next set to be revied is a set from Alpha Team: Mission Deep Freeze series.
THE PARTS: Chill Speeder has a lot of Sand blue pieces, it also comes with an Ice Orb.
THE MINIFIG(S): CS has one minifigure, who I belive is supposed to be Flex, though he has changed very much since Mission Deep Sea.
THE FEATURES: CS has two modes, the Chill Speeder mode, which is shown on the box, and the Alpha Mode, which is a type of Mech.
FINAL SCORE: CS is a really good small set, it has some good parts, but the new Flex looks more Like Crunch. 9/10
